A Small Family Program Beside the Water
We raise Bernedoodles and Mini Bernedoodles in our Utah home — a handful of litters a year, every puppy underfoot from the day it is born.
It Began With One Dog and a Quiet Shoreline
Still Water Doodles started the way most good things do: with a dog we loved too much to keep to ourselves. Our first Bernedoodle grew up on the shore behind our house, following the kids down to the water every morning and curling up by the stove every night. Families who met her kept asking the same question — where can we find one like that?
We did not set out to become breeders. We set out to raise a few more dogs exactly the way we raised her: in the house, in the middle of family life, with patience and a lot of time outdoors. That is still the whole plan.
Today we keep a small number of health-tested dams and sires, plan only the litters we can raise by hand, and stay in touch with every family long after their puppy goes home.

How We Raise Our Puppies
From the whelping box in our living room to the first trips down to the dock, every puppy learns the sounds, smells and rhythms of a real household before it ever leaves ours.
Raised in Our Living Room
Puppies are whelped and raised inside our home, not a barn or kennel building, so household noise and daily routine are normal from day one.
Early Neurological Stimulation
Days 3 to 16 follow the ENS protocol, then daily handling and new surfaces, sounds and textures every week after.
Vet-Checked and Up to Date
Every puppy goes home examined by our vet, with age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming and a microchip already done.
Started on Crate and Potty Routines
By go-home day our puppies know a crate, a doggy door and the grass outside — the first week at home is gentler for everyone.

Our Values
Temperament First
We pair dams and sires for steady, gentle temperaments before we think about colour or size.
Health-Tested Parents
Every breeding dog is DNA-tested and cleared before a litter is ever planned.
Small on Purpose
A few litters a year means every puppy gets hands-on time with our whole family.
Here for Life
Questions at week two or year ten — we answer, and we will always take one of our dogs back.
Come Meet the Family
If the way we raise our dogs sounds like the kind of puppy you are hoping for, the waitlist is the best place to start.
